Colorado's Diana DeGette has proposed a Hydrofracturing amendment to a Safe Drinking Water Act bill that did not properly differentiate between oil/gas well and water well fracking.

Denver Mayor and Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Hickenlooper Tuesday (June 22) called on oil and gas companies to disclose the chemical formulas being used in hydraulic fracturing.

The CWWCA membership has voted to support the NGWA's position on Hydraulic Fracturing as stated in the position paper that I posted above.
